Welcome to the BFS 8.8 Upgrade Home Page

We have begun a project to upgrade the Berkeley Financial System (BFS) from PeopleSoft Financials version 7.02 to version 8.8 which has a web interface. We anticipate the upgrade will improve the user experience, and it will put the campus on a supported version of the PeopleSoft product.

Timeline for the Upgrade
This section will give you information on the timelines involved in the project, including major milestones, implementation dates and training schedules. As the timeline changes or evolves, we will update this site.

Requirements for the Upgrade
This section will provide the browser specifications for the new BFS PeopleSoft 8.8 system as well as a link to ASD's recommended hardware requirements. In addition, recharge units and other feeder systems can find information here about the upgrade and the interface to BFS.
